As 2015 comes close, the Nigeria nation has witnessed a series of changes in the political landscape especially as the mergation of top political parties, that is, the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), All Nigeria Political Party (ANPP) into the merger All Progressive Congress (APC). The emergance of this party came at a time when the ruling People Democratic Party (PDP) has an internal crisis especially in the Nigerian Governors Forum which is chaired by the PDP, trouble also in the PDP Board of Trustee, and threats by some governors to join the new merger opposition. The trouble was evident when some top governors snub the party chairman birthday party. The new opposition party will act as a major test on the strength of the PDP and its years of ruling Nigeria (since 1999).
Due the APC has had its first test and suceeded i.e the battle of the APC acronym. But thinking of the APC, what is their agenda, what plans do they have to offer the masses, who really are the main men behind APC, are they the messiah we have been waiting for or are they another set of people who only want to control the Nigeria seat of power, are the masses save, is the end of the PDP close? Questions, questions, questions seeking answers.
Only time could tell.
